How FootScan Works
You walk or stand on a sensor-equipped platform that records thousands of pressure readings in a matter of seconds. The system then maps how your weight is distributed and how it shifts through each step. Because the measurements are precise and repeatable, we can compare results over time to track how well your treatment is working.

What FootScan Can Reveal
A scan can highlight uneven loading, areas of excessive pressure and irregularities in your walking pattern that are difficult to spot with the naked eye. These findings often explain symptoms that seem unrelated to the feet, such as recurring discomfort in the knees, hips or lower back, by showing how a problem at ground level is affecting the rest of the body.

What Happens After Your Scan
Your results guide the next step. For some patients, the answer is custom orthotics designed from the data to correct specific imbalances. For others, the findings inform a programme of general podiatry care or a wider plan that includes chiropractic treatment. Whatever the outcome, we will talk you through your results in plain language.
FootScan analysis can be especially useful for patients with sports injuries, postural problems or persistent lower back pain linked to the way they move.
